BCOA 2005 National Specialty Show

First and foremost... Barbara and I were so honored and pleased to be with Elaine Kilmer, of Laurelglen Borzoi and our stunning GrandHoundson, Hunter along with our one and only gorgeous baby girl Bonnie Clare, aka, Busy...also, for their first time to a BCOA National Specialty, on their first wedding Anniversary and on Keith's ____(ah ha..) birthday...Janice and Keith Sharkey, of Ravenwood Borzoi, came with their two beautiful boys, our GrandHoundsons Logan and Noah. How awesome is that??!!

Judges: Mr. Jack Downing & Mrs. Linda Stilwell

1:00 p.m. Bred By Exhibitor Dogs
Judge: Dr. James Sillers

Entered: Jacob.... he was passed by, but performed beautifully... we were pleased.

Later that same day:
Open Dog Class

Entered: Logan, Noah and Hunter.

Janice and Noah floated around the ring and they both were quite the team. They did us all proud! (Photos to come.) Hunter and Elaine were also quite the team, however Elaine was having "shoe" issues (her shoes were slipping off - thank goodness she did not fall!!). They made the cut out of 20 dogs!! (Photos to come.) Onto Logan and Keith...Keith was like a Professional Handler and Logan and him were one. It was truly a tough decision for Dr. Sillers not to award Logan 1st in Open Dog!! Just by a nose Logan and Keith were awarded 2nd in Open!!! WOW!!! We are still beaming... what great memories Elaine, Janice and Keith have provided!!

All and all, we had a wonderful memorable time!! Thank you, Elaine, Janice and Keith for taking such great care and showering these babies with more love than we can imagine! Barbara and I are still smiling and are so glad you all are apart of our zoifamily!
